Babywearing Bootcamp is a fun, interactive fitness class for mom and child to enjoy together! Join us for a 1 hour class consisting of warm-up, workout & cool down. Your workout will consist of cardio, strength training & core work.
Babywearing Bootcamp is the perfect workout to enjoy while wearing your little one, whether you are trying to get fit after pregnancy or just trying to get out of the house! There are no limitations on the age of child you are carrying, (if you want to workout with a 3-yr old on your back, have at ‘er!) we just ask babies be at least 6 weeks old.
Babywearing Bootcamp is tailored to the needs of mama and child and can be modified as necessary. Don’t let the name fool you, this happy class is appropriate for all fitness levels! Our goal is to provide an entertaining class where mom and child can bond while breaking a sweat and making new friends!
Every class will be different, and every exercise will have a modified alternative. Any style of baby carrier is welcome, front, back or wrap, however, any narrow based carriers must use extra hip support for the baby.. Like THIS. The child can only be faced inward during this class. The emphasis of this class will be placed on stabilizing against the effects of relaxin in our bodies, while strengthening ourselves so we can meet the challenges of parenthood head on, and look fabulous doing it. Bring your questions, meet some fellow babywearers, and lets get moving!
